Unless you are farming Dark essence, in that case you should probably drop most looting and go for other perks for a run. My personal opinion right now is that you should build up to 27-28 Coord, and put all He into Looting (I + II) from there on, until the game adds zone 250 content, Looting is just better than more zones. At 27 Coord i took way longer to do spire (it was actually hard again), but more importantly i got stuck in zone 1-199 a lot more often and losing valuable time because my trimps lacked hp. Then i ran nsheetz's and it told me to go 27 Coord. Switching to 28 Coord and investing my remaining He in looting put me at 12M He/hour. I'm at 2.8B He and i was running 30 Coord*. With 28 Coord, spire becomes a hell of a lot easier and with 29 or 30 Coord it's a walk in the park. After that higher zones boost he/hour, but the cost of another Coord exceed that of what you would gain from Looting. The way i see it is that you can clear the Spire at 27 Coord. In fact i'm considering to sacrifice even a little more He/hour (by lowering looting + looting II) and invest more in Coord and other strenght perks that make runs easier. If you play manually like me, you'de prefer Zxv's. If you play with scripts, nsheetz is probably the way to go. I've tried nsheetz and Zxv's recently, and my conclusion is that nsheetz gives more He/hour while Zxv allows a slightly more relax playstyle so you wont need to play as often and clear spire faster without farming. Simply knowing it's being used by people is fantastic. The purpose of this is purely for people who want to quickly compare perk set ups. A hacky compromise I opted for was adding in 'nsheetz (new)' ratios, which will give a recommendation that's somewhat based on nsheetz' calculator (should be more or less correct at 300m, then diverge from that if you have more/less helium). Nsheetz' calculator will always be more accurate.

It's very easy to see what perks you should have based on your total helium, and doesn't require you to download anything. The advantage of my calculator is purely the convenience of it. The combination of corruption, Sci V and arithmetic perks (looting II specifically) versus geometric perks (all tier I perks) mean your sources of helium vary significantly as you advance.

I didn't realise this when creating the calculator, but it turns out there is no hard and fast rule for how to value perks. Under the hood, I believe both of the calculators use the same logic for calculating which perk to buy next. The main difference between the two calculators' is that mine relies on the user supplying their own opinion on how to compare perks (done through setting ratios), whereas nsheetz' one does this internally by considering stuff like your total he/hr, depth of your run etc.
